Anita Eagle (Frevert)
Barbara Hill attended Baker University after graduating from NKCHS in 1962. She married and divorced Gordon Clay and later married Gordon Smiley. They lived in KCMO for a few years and moved to Grapevine, TX, where Gordon continued his Formula racing career until he died in a horrific crash during the qualifying round at INDY 500 on May 15, 1982. Barbara died of cancer in her Grapevine home in September 1987 at the age of 43. She had one daughter, Natalie Clay. Carol Norfleet Evans and Anita Eagle Frevert guard precious memories of all their special times together with Barb.
