James Robert Gibson, 75, of Kansas City Missouri, passed peacefully on Saturday, March 21 2020 surrounded by family and friends.

He was born to Russell and Mary Gibson of Springfield Missouri on April 14, 1944. He graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1962. He married Karen Marie Gibson, the love of his life, on March 21st 1964.
He was survived by His two children and their families: Jimmie and Becky Gibson of Adrian Missouri and their four children, Jake, Jaxen, Emma, Haley and husband Grant. and great granddaughter Harper; and Lee and Cheryl Bearce, of Kansas City Missouri, and their two daughters, Kelsey and husband Johnny, and Courtney. He is also survived by his brother, Russell A. Gibson Jr.

Jim’s passions focused towards family, cars, golf, bowling and making others happy.
