James Scott Obituary

James St. Clair Scott "Leroy" passed away August 25,2023. He was born September 30,1944 in Alexandria Virginia. He attended school in NKC Mo graduating from NKC High School in 1962. He went on to take classes at MO State University in Springfield Mo. He served in the Army National Guard from 1965-1971 being honorably discharged in 1971. He was in the printing business working for Art Lithograph Co. before retiring in 2006. He enjoyed camping with friends at Pomme de Terre, trips to Mexico with friends as well as fishing trips in Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 26 years Donna L. Scott, his parents Mr. & Mrs. John M. Scott. He is survived by his beloved companion Sandy Dyer, daughter Kellie Hinkle, grandchildren Tanner, Austin and Grace Hinkle. Bonus daughter Melody Stringfellow and granddaughter Zoey Snelson. Three sisters Linda (Hugh) Clark, Barbara White, Audree (Joe) Bozerocki. Multiple nieces, nephews and great nieces, nephews.

He will forever be remembered for his quick wit, kind heart and generous spirit! A celebration of life will be held October 1, 2023 3-5pm VFW hall Sugar Creek Mo 12810 E. Kentucky Rd. Independence Mo 64050
