Lois Fann (Bookkeeping)

Lois F. Campbell(Fann), 79, Smithville, MO, died September, 26, 1997, at her home. Funeral service were held September 30, at Smithville Christian Church; burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smithville, MO.
 
Mrs. Campbell graduated from Central Missouri State College in Warrensburg and obtained a Master's Degree in Business Education in 1940 from the Uniersity of Colorado at Boulder. She began her teaching career in 1938 at Martin rural school, then taught in North Missouri, Smithville and North Kansas City for 36 years, retiring in 1983. She married Milton H. Campbell on June 11, 1983.
 
She was a member of First Christian Church in Smithville, a 50-year member of Garland Chapter Order of Eastern Star. She also belonged to the American Association of University Women, Missouri State Teacher's Association, and the Historical Society of Smithville.
 
She was preceded in death by her brother, Norman Fann, and her husband, Milton. Survivors include cousins, Charles W. Jones, Overland Park, KS, and Henry A. Woods, Wichita, KS; two stepdaughters, Barbara Russell, Gladstone, MO, and Karen Fischer, Jefferson City, MO; two grandchildren, Amy Fischer and Craig Fischer, Jefferson City.
